Case Study: Startup

Helpful from the start.

Tell us about your company and your role.

It’s no secret that everyone likes to be appreciated, and one of the core tenets of selling is that we choose to do business with people we like. Simple, considerate gestures that demonstrate you value and respect someone’s time have the power to completely change their perspective. Thnks provides an edge in the sales process by simplifying the act of showing gratitude.

Thnks shortens sales cycles and moves more prospects through our clients’ pipelines. While sending small gestures of appreciation is at the core of what we do, our clients view Thnks as a pipeline development and compliance tool rather than a gifting solution. I am CTO at Thnks.

What was your experience with the Clarus R+D team?

The team was helpful from the start, explaining the process step by step. They answered questions throughout the application and followed through post-completion with the tax filings and payroll system integration.

Clarus R+D has a great payment model for startups.

How do you plan to use the R&D tax credit?

It is earmarked for use in the IT budget for our ISO and SOC2 certifications.

What advice would you give others looking to benefit from the R&D tax credit?

The R&D tax credit is something all companies developing technology should look into as it does not require earnings and is no longer only for large enterprises. It is a form of non-dilutive capital that is straightforward to apply for with the right partner.

Why did you choose Clarus R+D?

Clarus R+D provided excellent support throughout the process, making my job much easier, plus they have a great payment model for startups.
