Woman with Tampons

Amplify your impact.

Tell us about your company.

Toilet paper is offered for free, why aren’t tampons? Aunt Flow is a social enterprise that stocks business bathrooms with 100% organic cotton menstrual products. For every month’s supply of tampons and pads that an Aunt Flow subscriber buys, another is donated to someone in need.

What R&D work does Aunt Flow do?

In 2017, Aunt Flow created a unique check-out process for customers. In 2018, we are committing funds to develop a free-vend, menstrual product dispenser.

As the founder of a startup, the last thing I have time to do is find tax incentives. Clarus made the entire process simple.

What was your experience with the Clarus R+D team?

Clarus R+D was EXTREMELY helpful. As the founder of a startup, the last thing I have time to do is find tax incentives (I’m lucky if I remember to pay our taxes on time). Clarus made the entire process simple – no back-and-forth emails, no extra hassle. I simply filled out a form and was informed that we were eligible for $3,000+ in tax credits!

How do you plan to use the R&D tax credit?

This tax credit will allow us to amplify our giving by 20,000 additional tampons and pads!

What is your advice for other entrepreneurs?

Make shameless asks! Also, Clarus is AWESOME.
