JOB SUMMARY

In this role, you will focus on inbound lead qualification and process leads through the sales cycle by qualifying prospects and setting sales appointments at the initial stage of the sales funnel. You will also act as support to the Account Executive team. As a support, you will work closely with Salesforce and Hubspot to manage tasks and create opportunities and proposals. SDRs must quickly respond and contact inbound leads, sometimes within minutes. You will use tools such as social media, phone, and email, as well as CRM platforms. A perk to being in an SDR role at Clarus R+D is that our leads have all indicated interest in working with us through various inbound channels, so they are warm leads. We also want our colleagues to grow with us, so the goal of the SDR program is for you to grow into an Account Executive role here. We’ll work with you to develop a plan to do just that.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process leads through the sales cycle by qualifying prospects and setting sales appointments
  • Act as support to the Account Executive team, working with Salesforce and Hubspot to manage tasks, add notes, and create sales opportunities and proposals
  • Respond to inbound leads in a timely manner (website, chatbots, sales-help emails, etc.)
  • Assign and correctly route inbound leads to the Account Executive team
  • Work with the Account Executive team to reschedule “No Show” appointments
  • Document all client and prospect interactions in Salesforce; use tools such as social media, phone, and email
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams through feedback and ideas to increase the number of qualified prospects

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • This is an entry-level role. We are looking for candidates who are sales-minded and want to work at a company they can grow with
  • Demonstrated aptitude of sales skills – creativity is a plus
  • Excellent verbal, written, and telephone and video meeting skills supported by strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong and confident phone and video meeting presence
  • Ability to learn quickly and communicate product/service value proposition
  • Ability to juggle multiple prospects with timely, responsive follow-up
  • High energy, positive, and achievement driven
  • Takes direction but is a self-starter and works independently toward goals
